Refugee Shabbat: Talk and Walk at Willesden Jewish Cemetery

Join us for a special Refugee Shabbat event with HIAS JCORE, celebrating heritage and belonging. The afternoon will include an inspiring talk and Q&A, a guided walk through Willesden Jewish Cemetery, and time to explore our display on Brent’s Jewish community.

Held as part of the global Refugee Shabbat, now in its eighth year, the event reflects the Jewish value of welcoming and protecting others, particularly those seeking safety and belonging. Through storytelling and shared space, we will reflect on past journeys and their relevance today
