Eco Action at the House of Life for Mitzvah Day
Come and take part in Mitzvah Day, the Jewish-led interfaith day of hands-on social action, open to people of all backgrounds.
We have morning and afternoon sessions for you to choose from
10.00 AM-midday
or
1.30 PM-3.30 PM
We’re delighted to share that the House of Life has been awarded an Eco Grant, supporting our new accessible planting troughs for schools and the community. This initiative strengthens our commitment to sustainability, education and caring for the world around us, l’dor v’dor, from generation to generation.
As part of Mitzvah Day, we are inviting you to help us collect autumn leaves, twigs and weeds for our compost system to help fill our new planters. We will also weed the community planter, getting it ready for new seeds in March. These small acts of stewardship help nurture biodiversity, support pollinators and bring nature learning into the heart of our historic site.
This project is supported by Brent Council’s Together Towards Zero grant.
Light refreshments will be provided.
All the family are welcome, but children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Wear comfortable old shoes/Ideally protective.
This is a free event but booking is essential. Please book your free place below:
