Twilight Information Event for Teachers

 

We are delighted to invite secondary school teachers to explore the unique learning opportunities we offer and how they integrate into the curriculum.

  • House of Life Heritage Centre at Willesden Jewish Cemetery (Beaconsfield Road, Willesden, London NW10 2JE (free on-site parking available) 

This event is an opportunity to learn about the educational experiences we provide for secondary schools and students, including both onsite and outreach sessions. We'll show you how our programmes align with the National Curriculum, making it easier to incorporate them into your teaching plans. You will have the opportunity to meet our dedicated team who are passionate about enhancing students' educational journeys. This event also offers an excellent opportunity to meet fellow educators and share insights.

What to Expect:

  • Conversations on both our programmes: Stories from the Cemetery and Death and Symbolism for secondary school students.  We will explain the options available which include; workshops, object handling, guided walks and outreach.

  • The opportunity to discuss the curriculum integration and how our offerings complement your teaching goals with our volunteers and staff.

  • There will also be a chance to ask questions and explore our learning packs as well as discuss customised solutions for your school's unique needs.

  • Refreshments and a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
